Ferropolis ("Iron City" or in German "Eisenstadt" is located in Saxony-Anhalt near the town Gräfenhainchen. Today it is an eventlocation and museum of very huge industrial machines using for surface mining. I visited "Ferropolis" in May 2012 and these machines are very impressive. They were used several years ago but you can still feel the power of these machines made of steel. So I decided to take them in a "hard"-style, b/w with hard to very hard contrast.
